One of the legendary Manager's Dram bottlings, this one is from Speyside stalwart Cragganmore.
A single cask whisky, chosen by the distillery manager and originally destined for employees and friends of the distillery.
This Cragganmore was aged for 17 years in a sherry cask before being released in November 1992 at 62% ABV.
Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary.
Nose: Rich on the nose with tiramisu, creamy vanilla, barley, almond and lastly hazelnut.
Palate: Vanilla continues onto the palate as a nice helping of chocolate, hazelnuts and coffee.
Finish: Apple crumble soon appears as the finish is long and spicy with star anise, nutmeg, balanced oak.
Whiskeybase has scored this Cragganmore 17 Year Old Managers Dram Whisky 91.46/100 overall on their site through customer recommendations.
‘What is clear here is that there is an emphasis on peat & pepper in most of these bottlings.’
