Bottled in the highlands, this 20-year-old single malt from Clynelish was bottled to commemorate the distilleries 200th anniversary.
In a beautifully presented box this cask strength malt was made only available from the distillery in 2019.
It was matured in a combination of Bodega Sherry European Oak and Refill American oak casks to create a stunning expression.
One of 1819 bottles.
Nose: Thick notes of beeswax with soft notes of red fruits in the background, there plenty of room for the classic Clynelish profile to shine.
Palate: The palate is earthy, sherried and waxy with a good amount of farminess.
Finish: Rich and sherried, well worthy of celebrating such an iconic distillery!"
