La Rica Tubitos Cigar - 1 Single

These are a great little cigar for when you only have 15 mins. Unfortunately it's a bit of a luck getting a good one, based on my experience of 41 (one to try and two packs of 25 of which I have 10 left) I'd say one in 5 or 6 is plugged but can usually be smoked if you have strong cheeks. I've not tried cgars replacements service mentioned by someone else, only one pack of 25 was purchased from cgars and for £2 each it's not really worth the effort. If it wasn't for the odd plugged one I'd give 5 stars no problem considering the price. Much better quality though than panatellas from many brands, these are hand rolled and nice and tight. For this price the construction and packaging is fantastic (tubes are corked in the lid with a little ceder wrapper, all of which provide great craft materials for my 5 year old). A quite pleasant and falvourable smoke, a little spicy but not much, more a suggestive tang of what you tend to get from thicker Nicaraguan smokes. Ash is a nice silver and no noticeable tar build up. Solve that plugged problem and these are a 5.

had 3 of these cigars and must say that 1st 2 had tight draw but the 3rd one was very nice.easy draw and good flavour for small cigar. it a lucky dip with them but I will be getting more

A very pleasant mild cigar. As other reviewers have said the quality does vary with some rather tightly packed. Something important to note is that if, like me, you get one that is un-smokeable due to being plugged, let CGars know & always assuming you bought if from CGars, you will get a nice email from Mitchell offering a replacement or refund. Top class service Mo.

Unfortunately the only one of these I bought seemed pretty plugged, had a very tight draw. I persevered and actually enjoyed the flavours, for the price I'd call this a good cigar *if* you get a well constructed one. I'll probably buy some more just to see what a good one tastes like.
