Over the years C.Gars Ltd have put on various events including our twice yearly Aged, Rare & Vintage Cigar Auctions as well as attended other Cigar Events and Festivals such as the Habanos Festival in Cuba.

Peterson Trip

I was lucky enough to get an invitation to visit the Peterson Pipe Factory in Dublin. It was such an amazing experience, and we had such lovely hosts! I just had to write down what happened, and the hard work that went into creating a single pipe!

Sara's Chacom Visit

I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity of attending the Chacom factory in St Claude, France. We arrived in Geneva to meet with fellow travellers before heading off for 90 minute drive to St Claude.

Turmeaus Norfolk at the Rum Festival

Ian's trip to Nicaragua!

I was delighted to be given the opportunity to visit Nicaragua, a country where some of the finest tobaccos are grown. During my travels we visited a couple of tobacco fields to see how they grow both their shade grown and sun grown tobaccos.

Mitchell Herfing at Clayton

My travels took me to Pennsylvania to visit our friends at Cigars International in Bethlehem where we are having a lot of fun working on some very cool projects together and then on to beautiful Chicago (unseasonable but very nice weather too) where I enjoyed hosting a few Pre Embargo Havana cigar tasting events at The Clayton.

Sara's Cuba Trip

During my trip to Cuba I was lucky enough to travel to Pinar del Rio to visit La Vega de Ledesma tobacco plantation. The harvest of the tobacco had recently been completed so a lot of the crops had been cut down. The tobacco leaves had been taken to the air curing barns to remove the moisture and to turn the leaves from green to the beautiful brown we know and love for the cigars.

Norfolk Tasting Event!

Onto our second event of the year. We were joined by Jerry who introduced us to some nice gins and rums, and the cigars sampled were the Dictador J Nelson 1974 and the La Flor Dominicana double ligero Chiselito.

Knutsford Tasting Event!
08/03/17

The Turmeaus Knutsford shops first tasting event of the year was a great success. Customers came to enjoy a Fonseca Cosacos with Pitmaster Viognier Wine and Vouray Comte de la Boisserie Wine and a Montecristo No. 4 with Cahors Malbec Wine and Chocolate Box G.S.M Wine.

Liverpool Tasting Event!
20/02/17

Liverpools first tasting event went ahead on the 20th. We had Brian from Amathus with us, who gave a tasting session on the Ron Barcelo Imperial rum and also treated guests to a Dry Martini Cocktail which went down a treat. Customers also got to enjoy H.Upmann Magnum 50.

Norfolk Tasting Event!

So our first tasting for the year at Norfolk has just been and it was a great success. The two cigars that were being tasted were the Montecristo Media Corona and the Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 1.
