The word "Quaich" is derived from the Gaelic word "Cuach" which means "shallow cup" or as we know it today, a drinking cup. The Quaich originated in the Scottish highlands centuries ago and became the favourite drinking cup throughout Scotland. Traditionally, the Quaich is used when offering a guest "the cup of welcome" and again offering when offering the farewell or parting drink.
The One Finger offers a totally artistic approach to shape design. This unique design resembles a large egg/bean shape with a deep gauge for a comfortable grip. Although the name implies the groove is intended for the finger, you can use either finger or thumb when smoking and it sits easily in place. Finished in part smooth and sandblasted, the smooth in a deep Red and the rest in a dark brown.
