This unpeated ten year old is a powerful, youthful individualist.
It has not been homogenised or subject to the industrial processes and caramel additives that strip out natural oils and artificially darken.
Its colour is derived entirely from great casks, housed on Islay for a decade or more.
First-fill Bourbon, sherry and French wine casks, this Laddie was bottled at an ABV of 50% with only 18,000 individually numbered bottles made.

Nose: Light honey and citrus combine with hints of tobacco and creamy fudge. Clean notes of sweet oak, praline, vanilla and milk chocolate rise together and then subside to allow the marine citrus notes to come to the fore.
Palate: Rich and creamy, oak and malted barley reveal their sweet notes. The fruit is ripe peach honeydew melon, raisin and sultanas as then comes hints of ginger, lemon and honey in a rich assertive combination.
Finish: Long and floral. Alongside the long honeysuckle and rose notes, lemon zest fades and allows delicate, exotic fruits like pineapple and melon to the fore which soon pass and . They too pass and leave just a hint of smoke from the charred american barrels.
