Bruichladdich was established in 1881 and has changed hands many times over the years.
Owned by French spirit group Remy Martin Bruichladdich distil, mature and bottle their whisky on site as well as using barley from the surrounding farms.
Since their renaissance in 2001 their range of whiskies are bottled without added colour or chill filtration and at 46% ABV and above.
This Bruichladdich Links Series is one of the most sought after in this long discontinued Golf series depicting St Andrews
Nose: Relatively fragrant with a combination of sweet exotic fruit - peach, kumquat, apple. passion fruit and mango. Fruit syrup and orange marmalade with a touch of mint and a hint of smoke.
Palate: The fruit aspect continues onto the palate in a more subdued style but still candied with some orange peel and apple.
Finish: More smoke, short but an overall warming finish.
