Brora 30 Year Old 2010 Whisky - 70cl 54.3%

Colour: Mid-amber.

Nose: A delicate, complex and appetising nose which slowly reveals a balance of buttery softness and acetic sharpness. Develops gently, vanilla alternates with sharper, faintly coastal notes.

Palate: At first smooth, sweet and honeyed, with instant smoke and medicinal notes. Add a little water and savoury notes appear, sweet overall, but with slight saltiness and a herbal flavour.

Finish: Long and scented. Elegant with malty notes: rich fruitiness with a charred, smoky backdrop. Finally, salty-sweet.
