The oldest distillery on Islay, Bowmore has been described as the Grande Dame of the island.
It still has it's own floor maltings which make up about 30% of their requirements.
Their No. 1 vaults are the oldest maturation warehouse in Scotland and the only one below sea level.
This miniature has been bottled for the RAF Benevolent Fund's 50th anniversary of The Battle of Britain appeal.
It is also one of 500 miniatures that got to go for trip in an F4 Phantom jet.

Sweetly peated, beachy, maritime nose – through to a palate taking off with chimney soot, damp ash and pelagic style and soaring high to a finish which is smoked, coal dusted and tarry.
