Hailing from the Blair Athol Distillery which stands at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, this whisky is part of the Connoisseurs Choice range from by Gordon & Macphail.
Distilled in 2007 and Bottled in 2016, the whisky is light bodied and pale gold.

Nose: Subtle Sherry influences with butterscotch and raisin notes. A hint of chocolate is present.
Palate: Smooth with hints of pepper initially. Cinnamon, prune, and ripe banana flavours develop, followed by hints of fresh raspberry and chocolate. Subtle charred oak on the finish.
Finish: Medium in length with a lingering spicy edge.
