This Bladnoch 23 Year Old is from the "Rare Malts" selection - a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.
Distilled in 1977 and bottled as a 23 year old in 2001 this is bottle number 2222.
Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary.
Nose: Crisp with clean citrus notes with a little fresh menthol, leafy greenness and a mustiness.
Palate: Fresh and citrussy with medium-body and herbal notes, a little green flitters in and out.
Finish: Long and bittersweet with cereal notes and a fresh greenness.
