Pronounced 'Ben doo' and meaning Black Mountain, Beinn Dubh Black Whisky is a thick, incredibly dark whisky produced at the Speyside distillery.
After the success of Cu Dhub, the black whisky made at Speyside for Danish bottler Mac Y, the distillery decided to branch out and launch their own version and it doesn't disappoint!
The Black, is matured in Ruby Port casks from the Duoro Valley in Portugal creating an incredibly dark whisky.
Nose:: Caramel starts things off as toasty follow combined with nuts and raisins.
Palate: Vanilla and sugar dominate with faint hints of citrus, apples and berries lurking in the background.
Finish: Long and rich.
