Description

A 1991 Highland single malt whisky, distilled from Balblair and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail from their private collection.

Finished with a Crozes-Hermitage red wine cask, finely matured giving rich fruity tones whilst maintaining their noticeable peppery finish.

Nose: Peppercorns and hints of strawberry jam. A little pear juice, hints of baking spices. Vanilla and blueberry. Vanilla.
Palate: Vanilla and rich malt. Citrus zest, candied peels and cocoa. Liqueur cherries. Marmalade.
Finish: Cocoa and toffee apples.
