A miniature bottle of Auchentoshan 12 Year Old Triple Distilled Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Since Auchentoshan distillery was built in 1817 (then named Duntocher), it has withstood 13 different owners, bankruptcy, and a bombing raid in World War II. It is the only Scotch distillery to triple-distil all its whisky, and 100% of its output goes into its single malt bottlings.
Bottled by Eadie Cairns. We estimate this was bottled in the 1980s.
Nose: Cereals and exotic fruits make up the fantastic nose on this 12 year old Auchentoshan.
Palate: Smooth and sweet with barley, vanilla and hints of tangerines.
Finish: Dry and very long, sweetness from the barley continues as well as ginger and a lingering nutiness.
