A miniature bottle of Auchentoshan 10 Year Old Single Lowland Malt Scotch Whisky.
These are beautiful old bottles that are now becoming harder and harder to find.
Auchentoshan, Gaelic for "Corner of the field" was founded in 1817 and is situated today at the foot of the Kilpatrick Hills near the Erskine Bridge.
It changed hands many times until 1969 when it was sold to Eddie Cairns who then proceeded to upgrade the distillery and then sold it to Stanley Morrison (later Morrison Bowmore) in 1984.
It is known as the only Scotch whisky that is fully triple distilled and is today owned by Edrington Beam Suntory.
Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary.
Nose: Highly floral, hibiscus tea, disinfectant, slightly sour citrus rind.
Palate: Sweet and floral. Almost Irish, notes of honey.
Finish: Nutmeg, soft sawdust salinity and green apple.
