As I sat down with this whisky and took my first sniff my nose was gently greeted with the soft aromas of biscuit, then some slightly more spicy ginger. I could not wait to try it.
As I took my first sip my palate was graced with a sponge cake and raisin like flavour. From that, the taste of ever so slightly smoked cedar slowly took over.
The finish on this whisky was rather long and left me with spicy cinnamon and rich chocolate. A beautiful drink to enjoy in the evening this cold winter.
