A miniature bottle of Aberlour Glenlivet 12 Year Old.
Produced many moons ago and presented in a square bottle (a real change from recent editions)
This was also back when the Speyside-based distillery was using the 'Glenlivet' suffix.
It is estimated this was bottled back in the 1980s.
Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary.
Nose: Fruity, almost tropical, with a little oak.
Palate: Mild and well rounded. First comes a barrage of oak, then the fruity flavours set, while then again the nutty oak takes over the word.
Finish: Bittersweet, relatively much wood, nice nutty finish.
