A miniature bottle of The Abbot's Choice Old Scotch whisky, sealed with a cork stopper. This was produced by John McEwan & Co. Ltd.
John McEwan & Co. was established in Leith in 1837. The company became known for its blends such as Abbot's Choice and Chequers, and was purchased by Distillers Company Limited in 1937.
From there John McEwan & Co. became licensee of Linkwood Distillery, which had joined the DCL stable in 1936.

We estimate this to have been bottled from 1950s to 1960s.
