Then, a simple push on the broad side ignition switch rotates an auto lid 180 degrees and simultaneously ignites a powerful jet flame. To protect from unwanted lightings when the lighter is upside down (or in your pocket!), XIKAR implemented a safety feature that keeps the lighter from igniting.
