I aged my cigar for 3 months, and when i came round to smoking it, the construction was very good, no flaws or veining but there were some green spots. A sign of ageing but immaturity. But i carried on. Smelt wonderfull and was very mild, almost bland. But it did underneath have hidden flavours that were just waiting to come out but coudlnt. A nice all round cigar for when you've got time to smoke it. quite good for beginners i would say

The first havana I ever smoked! A nice cigar but unfortunately it does need re-lit quite often.

Actually, ahemmmmmmm - the original cigar I reviewed turned out to be a FAKE !!!! - bought NOT from Cgars, I do hasten to add. Thinking back, I seem to have got some kind of box pressed affair - kept the label, got it out and - guess what, folks ? Different labels...... caveat vendor. ;-)) The tubes are different in colour, too. Well, well.... The current Upmann I`m smoking at the moment is proving to be a nice, spicy stogie with a few Monte like hints in it - are they made at the same factory ?? - pleasant smoke, medium flavour, tight - ish draw, which may be why they go out on first time smokers. A nice flavourful cigar - well constructed - yep, I`d have another. Stuck between a three and a four on this one (as you can see, I went for a three - by no means a magnificent smoke, but - not bad, and a good into to Cubans for beginners. Though perhaps with a little TOO much bite for the first time cigar smoker. Being a humble tubo, you can`t imagine TOO much from this ally clad corona - b

First time smoker of this brand, didnt particularly enjoy it that much. Tasted a little bit woody, and found it hard to keep lit. Had to relight 3 times. Overall not a bad smoke but one I wouldnt go back to that quickly.

Er. A good cigar, but I don`t know where the "mild to medium" flavour came in - I may have got a misfit, but the one I lit up was definitely approaching full strength. Very nicely made - some burn problems, but a very earthy flavour which you`ll either love or hate. I`d go for a Punch or Romeo over an Upmann Tubo. Maybe I just got an odd one ?

Great construction and smell to this mild flavoured (but still satisfying) cigar. Only flaw was an apparent inability to keep the thing lit - mustve re-lit this cigar 4 times at least. Very good with champagne, and plenty of friends :)

Surprisingly mild - I actually felt that I missed out on something special. An aroma which whilst decent, would have been nicer if it were a little stronger.

Hmmm, I feel the other reviews here are a little too generous. It has decent construction and a nice mild-medium aroma of woody, spicy tobacco...however after about the 1st inch it starts to burn very hot and un-even, often needing re-lighting. This is something that I hate in a cigar. However cheap a Havana may be relative to its cousins it is still pricey, and I expect not to have to put it out half way through because it has become tarry and hot.
