The second humidor in the LINLEY Hunters & Frankau Collection is called Skyline and is made in a limited edition of five.

This humidor features the panoramic skyline of London in marquetry detailing around the box. Landmarks of London depicted include the Millennium Wheel, the Barbican, the Swiss Re Building (sometimes known as ‘The Gherkin’), St Pauls’ Cathedral and the Millennium Dome. Veneers of cherry, swiss pear, sycamore, walnut and wenge are used to recreate the city skyline to dramatic effect set against a background of Macassar ebony. The imagery runs continuously around the box.

This box opens on hinged doors to reveal five Spanish cedar drawers with capacity for approximately 70 cigars. A Cigar Spa humidification system is contained within.

About the cigars:
This humidor contains special cigars produced exclusively for the United Kingdom market. Various companies that distribute Habanos around the world have been invited by Habanos S.A. to bid for the chance to develop their own special sizes: these are known as Regional Editions.
In 2005 Hunters & Frankau helped to pioneer the project with the Ramon Allones Belicosos Fino. The Regional Speciality concept has since been refined by the addition of numbers on all the boxes and a second band to identify each cigar.

Ramon Allones - Belicosos::
Ramon Allones is one of the big names in the Habanos history and one of the oldest Cuban brands,founded in 1837. All the cigars have a full flavour and are produced totally by hand using leaves from Vuelta Abajo region in Cuba.

The Belicoso size was produced exclusively for United Kingdom in 2005 as part of the test of the Regional Editions later to be introduced by Habanos S.A. Belicosos was the first 'figurado' size introduced by Ramon Allones in recent years. All the cigars were produced in the Partagas factory. (x 10 cigars included)

Por Larranaga - Magnificos:
This brand was founded in 1834. The quantities of cigars manufacturered by Habanos S.A. in this brand are very small, which is why the brand has become sought after by connoisseurs. All cigars have a light to medium flavour produced with leaves from Vuelta Abajo, Cuba

Magnificos is a special cigar made for United Kingdom in 2007. The cigars were produced at La Corona factory home of this brand. The blend specially created for this occasion has a unique flavour and has been highly rated by the cigar press.

Only 1,400 numbered boxes (1,000 in 10s and 400 in 25s) were made of this cigar, which is modelled on the once renowned Magnum size. Its band is a replica of the one used by Por Larranaga a hundred years ago in the early 20th century (x 10 cigars included)

La Gloria Cubana Gloriosos:
Founded in 1885 La Gloria Cubana speaks for itself. For over a century it has attracted the loyalty of knowledgeable smokers. It is classified as a medium flavour cigar.

Gloriosos. This size was specially made for the United Kingdom in 2008. Just 20,400 Gloriosos were produced at Partagas, the factory responsible for La Gloria Cubana. They were presented in 2,040 numbered, varnished boxes with rounded sides containing 10 cigars each.

Each cigar bears two bands, one for the brand and the other declaring 'Exclusivo Reino Unido' or 'Exclusively United Kingdom'. The Glorioso's band is copied from an example found in a collection in Havana. Its exact date is unknown, but the high quality image of the Belle Epoque lady, who looks as if she has just stepped out of a Toulouse Lautrec painting, suggests that it comes from the late 1890s or the early years of the 20th century (x 10 cigars included)

Punch Serie D'Oro No. 1:
The Punch brand was founded in the mid 19th century with the British market in mind and where it has remained very popular over the years.

Punch cigars have a distinctive medium flavour and are available in a variety of sizes, but the Serie D'Oro No. 1 is a size that hasn't been produced since the 1970's. This piramide size was specially made for the United Kingdom in 2008 at La Corona, the factory responsible for the brand. Only 1200 numbered boxes were produced (resembling the box used in the 70's) (x 20 cigars included)
