I have smoked these in the past, but not seen them in the UK for a long time. I was keen to get reacquainted, and bought a packet of these and a packet of Imperials. I have to say I was disappointed. I felt there was little flavour, it tasted plain and a little synthetic, more Castella than Henri Winterman.
I think I saw a review here that rated the King Edward over the Henri Winterman. I often smoke the HW Half Coronas as a low cost alternative to the more expensive Cuban cigars(a more infrequent treat); while the HMs are also mass-produced by machine, for my palette I find they are much more tasty and distinctively flavoured, and also more firmly wrapped.
To be charitable, maybe the King Edwards are just very mild, and that my taste has developed since I last smoked them. However, they aren't for me, and I shall be sticking to HM for my cheap smokes, unless anyone can recommend any alternatives!

I have smoked a few cuban brands and a couple of dominican, honduran, and bought these for a cheaper smoke. I was surprised, these are well constucted cigars, have an excellent draw through the small pre cut hole, with half decent ash, and a sweet cap you can taste for the first few minutes. They are fairly mild - no glorious teeth sucking here, and are mainly uncomplex wood, + leather flavours without the nicotine hit of better cigars[I've given up inhaling so rely on absorption] , but for the price these are great value. They burn well, last well and are not bone dry, the cellophane wrappers do a half decent job.At £3.30 each you'd need to go a long way to get the same value elsewhwere for machine rolled job - they knock spots off Henri Wintermans ...blaagh!

Bought a pack of these (not from C.Gars ltd) and thought they were an OK smoke, not too harsh, bit sweet, and for some reason they seem to be wrapped in sugar paper at the head, you can really taste it when you take a pre-light draw, but once lit this goes away. Good burn throughout and good ash. Obviously they don't come anywhere close to a Cohiba, or any other Cuban for that matter, but a good supplement for the cigar lover on a budget.

I didn't bought it from C.Gars Ltd. But would recommend if you wanted to buy this KE Invincible as it is cheaper than cigar store on high street around £3. As the tobacco beginner, it was my fourth cigar brand. The cigar is OK, but worth to have fun with ;-P. It is dry, which claimed not good to smoke according to Cigar Aficionado. You may like to try, but I would not smoke this cigar again.

Great value smoke. Very mild and ideal for the UK "smoke outside" mentality...You won't worry that you are wasting money if it starts raining and you have to go in & relight later!!
Highly recommended (especially bearing in mind the price!) and always consistent, they are not in the class of a Cohiba, but the ring gauge & length ensures a relatively cool mild smoke.
I always cut the end off them, and have not had any problems with the cigar falling apart...
Enjoy.
