Cohiba Piramides Limited Edition 2001 Cigar - 1 Single

I agree with a lot the two other reviews say. I have never been a Cohiba man..I have never enjoyed a Cohiba like I have enjoyed other houses. Cohiba for me have always been to sharp in flavour which masked all the other flavours. However this LE 2006 really is cracking and has restored my interest in thsi house. Excellent draw with a very pleasant leather tone...without sounding a bit too obvious a lovely smokey flavour one you'd expect to come from a fish smokery as you walk past. Don't let the maduro tag put you off... the wrapper is not as dark as other Cohiba maduro's, which are in fact very tasty too although more of a late evening smoke unlike this one which matched oddly very well with a glass of white malvasia I was enjoying at the same time... Def worth a shot.

Unreal smoke! Im not a huge maduro fan but this was one of the smoothest maduros i have ever had. I was not even through the foot and my mouth was coated with a delicious creamy oily leather flavor, I found myself licking my lips constantlly to try to pin point all the flavors in this complex cigar, Definatlly full bodied and definatlly not for the faint of heart. By Far the most complex cohiba i have ever smoked hands down!

Without doubt THE best cigar I have ever smoked. Flavour and depth from the first light to the last draw. I had alsways felt Cohiba to be over-priced and over-rated UNTIL I tried my first Pyramides. Once you've tried the first one you will be hooked.
