The weather was amazing, sunny and warm, rock on global warming Over 300 avid cigar aficionados enjoyed the soon to be launched H Upmann Magnum 50 and Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure Especial accompanied with copious quantities of Champagne and Mojitos whilst enjoying some excellent Cuban music from the band.
Spotted a few celebs including David Soul (Don’t give up on us baby!) and Jimmy Saville ( Jim’ll fix it!) and many of our best cigar merchants including Edward Sahakian (Davidoff), Desmond Sautter, The boys from JJ Fox to name a few.
Well done to Camille ,our competition prize draw winner who seemed to be enjoying many Mojitos and cigars… He yells me the custom rolled torp he smoked was fabulous:-)
The event should get some good Cigar trade coverage in the Press as I saw Colin from European Cigar Cult Journal puffing on a Hoyo ( Can’t miss him as he’s 7 foot tall!)
